Hunting Quebec Canada

Discover Quebec Moose Hunting!

quebecdmoose_hunting1We have acquired three remote camps for moose hunting on the shores of lac Gale just south of the Park Laverendrye roughly 4-5 hours north of Ottawa. Each camp has its own exclusive hunting territory of approximately 8-10 sq. km’s.

We take a maximum of two groups in each territory per year and limit the harvest to one bull moose per group. There are box blinds set up overlooking lake bays or marshes with several mineral licks to attract moose to the area. The camps are rustic with wood stoves for heat, propane fridges/ stoves and are wired for electricity via generator should you wish to bring one. A boat is also included at each cottage to enjoy walleye and pike fishing on lac Gale. Moose hunts are either semi guided or fully guided upon request. The average success rate in zone 12 is usually around 50%. In 2014, 3 of 5 groups saw moose (cows) with 4 of 5 hearing moose nearby. The largest camp can accommodate 6 hunters with the other two camps holding 4 hunters in each.  A mimimum of two hunters are required for one moose. Moose licenses are purchased over the counter, NO DRAWS!

EVERY GROUP OF 2 OR MORE IS GUARANTEED ONE BULL MOOSE TAG.
